Word Connotation

This project represents a dynamic abstract composition that combines shapes of the letters, texture, color, and the word. The idea behind the project was to combine these conditions in order to create figure-ground relationships between the shapes in order to create a composition that connotes the meaning of the word incorporated into the composition.

This project represents a dynamic abstract composition that combines shapes of the letters, texture, color, and the word. The idea behind the project was to create figure-ground relationships between the shapes connoting the meaning of the word incorporated into the composition. The first step was to activate the space using the shapes, texture, and color.

The final step was to incorporate the word into the composition so that it would harmoniously exist within a layout.
